Nacho is a civil engineer from Spain who loves to show off his perfectly sculpted physique.
Nacho Ansorena is the full package with brains, ambition, and abs for days.
Make sure to follow him on Instagram.
Originally from Santander, a small beautiful town in the north of Spain, Nacho now calls New York City home. He loves to travel and has lived in four countries over the past five years.
Nacho is a civil engineer by trade, but his good looks, charm and worked-out physique got him a modeling contract with top-notch Wilhelmina modeling agency.
We sat down with Nacho to get to know him (and his amazing abs) a little better.
What do you do in life?
I am a civil engineer working for an American company. I design structures for the most challenging buildings in NYC and other cities in USA. I love my job!
This year I signed with Wilhelmina NY and so far it’s being great. I’ve been booking cool projects for Men’s Health, the NFL and more. I really love it! Lately, I’m getting more and more work, so it can be the beginning of a new time for me! As you can see, I work hard and many hours per week, but I know I can do it because I love what I do!
Aside from working hard as an engineer, I’m also a very social person. I love meeting new people all the time, so I recently I started a business organizing top events. In the first months, we’ve already organized parties for celebrities and other cool people. The events have all been a blast and the hosts gave us rave reviews. For more info on our event production, contact me at Nachoansorena1991@gmail.com.
In the summer I like to bartend at some parties where I have a lot of fun and meet new people all the time. Friends is the most important thing we have for the ones we live in the big apple. They become our family.
How did you get into fitness?
Since I was a kid I was always playing sports with my friends. I spent every single minute outside and never sat around the house with a computer or machine. I was always in the streets of my neighborhood with other kids running, playing soccer, tennis or just being troublemakers.
When I was 15 I started competing in kayaking. Through this sport I learned how to develop a strong mindset and how to focus my energy to achieve a goal. The best part of this time was traveling with my team and having so much fun being the “bad boys” of the competition. We were always thinking of ways to make us win even if we were not the best ones! (Sometimes even cheating just for fun).
But when I really started working out I was 22 or 23 years old. I developed physically a bit later than my friends. At that point I was living in the Dominican Republic and I wanted to look good. My first year I trained at home and I would only do some exercises my friend taught me. It worked well!
Then, I moved to Paris and for the last 3 years I’ve been going to the gym. Honestly, I would love to be like most of the guys that say “gym time is my favorite time of the day, the press machine is so cool, bla bla bla.” In my case I’m just looking forward to finishing my daily work out! Who loves to get exhausted after already working the entire day? I would enjoy eating ice cream and cookies much better!
Share with us your goals or dreams in life.
One of my goals is to run my own company. It’s too early to say what I have in mind, but I would love to develop my own project that would make me feel proud of my work. I’ve always been a hard worker. Since I was a kid I’ve fought for everything I wanted. All I have in life is because I always tried my best and gave my best effort.
When I was at school I worked so hard that I was awarded the student with the best GPA for my degree. This granted me the opportunity to go to one of the best engineering schools of Europe (in Paris) where I received my double master’s degree. Once I finished my studies and I started working in the French capital, I presented my first project to a competition and was awarded the First National Prize for Transportation Infrastructure Management.
At the end life is a balance, so when I work I give my best but I never forget to have fun. Once I’m out it the office I love to meet my friends, go out, meet new people and prepare fun trips—at least one per month. I’ve been to many places—five continents—but one of my favorites trips was backpacking in South East Asia for a month.
I love to encounter other cultures from the real point of view of the locals. The next trip I would love to do is Brazil. The destination has always captivated me—the beach, sun, the Amazon, and of course the people! So in the end, I dream of having my own company that would allow me to be proud of my work at the same time allow me to travel around the world.
Tell us a hobby or favorite pastime.
My favorite thing to do besides traveling and enjoying time with friends and family is eating. I have a problem with chocolate and cookies—I can’t stop! Especially in the mornings! I feel like the sentence “Once you pop, you can’t stop” was written for me! ?I like simple things in life, the simpler the better. So if you want to give me the best morning ever, I just need a package of Oreos (preferably double stuffed) and a liter of chocolate milk on a sunny and peaceful rooftop or by the pool.
What is your favorite feature on yourself?
My favorite feature of myself… I would like to ask this question to the guys that are reading this article. I would say that I like my dark features. People always ask me if I’m from the Middle East or Brazil—and I love it! ??♂️ I would like to say that when people meet me they have this notion that I’m arrogant or a bitch. On the contrary, I’m actually a sweet boy! (But don’t get confused, not an angel ?). I try to be nice and talk to everyone that wants to talk to me! Why not?
Anything else you’d like to share?
I just want to say: guys fight for your dreams, enjoy life, enjoy family, friends, travel the world, have fun, work hard, be good and be bad, do everything you’ve always dreamed of even if you’re scared to fail. Life is too short to be scared.
Enjoy, live and love with all your energy and one day you will feel proud for not missing out on anything in life. Love you guys! Thanks for reading it! Feliz Navidad!!!
