Bette Midler is taking over the gothic Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York into a Halloween party that everyone will be talking about. The star-studded charity event benefits the New York Restoration Project.
The annual charity event has always been packed with bold-faced names and this years is no different. Rock legend Jon Bon Jovi will rock the costume-clad crowd of hundreds. NYRP’s founder, Bette Midler, herself will be performing parodies from Hulaweens’ past, while Dita Von Teese, “The Queen of Burlesque” will dazzle the audience during cocktails. The critically acclaimed and hilarious comedienne Judy Gold will serve as the Mistress of Ceremonies to skewer the crowd with laughter, while the world-renowned designer and Hulaween costume judge Michael Kors casts his judgment down upon all attendees.
Get your costumes ready—at Hulaween you better dress to impress! This year’s theme is inspired by the surreal Renaissance masterpiece, The Garden of Earthly Delights, by Hieronymus Bosch.
Let’s zoom in a little and see how high-brow yet zany these costumes are going to be! What would you dress up as?
Tickets for the Hulaween charity event are $600 with discount code 600hula and benefit NYRP.
